The Black Staff Association of the United Methodist Church is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to serving the needs of black staff serving The United Methodist Church in staff positions with UMC boards, agencies, conferences, jurisdictions, and districts. BSA will work collaboratively with all segments of The United Methodist Church in order to strengthen relationships that help to equip staff to more effectively network, empower and engage missional in our communities as we seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our global world.

YPM Accepting YOUTH 2019 Youth Advisory Committee Applications

In an effort to be intentional and reach the breadth of the church, Young People’s Ministries is seeking Youth Advisory Committee Applications.  We are looking for a wide range of young people between the ages of 12-18 years old.


No travel required, meetings every other month. Provides feedback and guidance to the Design Team to make sure that we are developing both meaningful and appropriate resources, workshops, themes, worship, etc. for YOUTH 2019.


Volunteer positions, not required to attend YOUTH 2019, but they are of course encouraged and would get first choice of volunteer opportunities on site in Kansas City.
